Goldsmiths Auction Buying Guide

Our sales are held on Saturday mornings. You can see what is on offer on the Thursday and Friday prior to the sale from 9.30am to 4.30pm and then on saleday from 8.30am.
Lots originate from many sources including deceased estates and private individuals

No goods at auction are sold as being new, working, complete, guaranteed or fit for any purpose. Electrical items are PAT tested for safety only. All lots are strictly Sold as Seen.

If you are unable to attend the auction in person you can complete a Commission Form to instruct the auctioneer to bid on your behalf on your selected lots.
If you do not wish to attend the whole sale the auctioneer will be happy advise at what time particular lots are expected to be sold.
If you successfully purchase lots then an auctioneer’s premium is added to the purchase price. At General Sales this is 20% including VAT. At Antique/Collectable Sales this is 15% including VAT.
Once you have paid for your lot you can take it home or arrange for it to be delivered. We are always happy to provide details of appropriate third parties to deliver items for you.
